Great to have Judy writing. That sound's like a great weekend. Not surprised Dale has to work. Brenda and Lester are doing a chili cookoff for New Years weekend. They did that last year and had a great time. Papa just got home from work. He has Sunday, New Years Eve off, then works Monday four hours. We usually do not do anything at night on New Years Eve. Don't like to be on the roads. Will go out to eat after church. Took down the Christmas decorations this morning and it looks naked. I always think that. Everyone have a great weekend. We are glad everyone had a nice Christmas. Even though we miss everyone we had a nice day. Brenda and Lester came for breakfast. We opened gifts then had breakfast. Got a ham into the oven and then we played games. The who-What-why phrase game - Who knew? Brenda gave us when she came to Florida for Christmas with Golda and Allie several years back. Would you believe I was better than Brenda? She thought about the answer too much. Then we played quad-ominos. A game we had for many years. We stopped for dinner and then played until 7:00. It is all papa's fault we can't go to Melissa's. The VA made an appointment for a stress test on the 28th. I need to be here for that. He is not having any problems. This is something they think needs to be done once in awhile. Bummer! But your mom may not be able to drive either. I asked her Monday night when they came for dinner (Lester had gotten some home made tamalies at work from someone, they were really good.) What she did a therapy and she showed me. I was really surprised how little she can use her hand and she said it was a lot better. She was to go back to work today. So we stay at home and who knows what we will do. Hope I remember how. I guess you, Betsy and me can say we are not nerds. Can your mother find out how to do it? She is not writing on hers.
